The homeowner loves the natural light that the home gets. While the homeowner loves their large glass windows, they were having an issue with heat and sun fading. The house was always uncomfortably hot and they were starting to see their floors fading from the sun. They did research online and found Solar Art’s website and started reading about the different window films we offer. Solar Art's Goals

Solar Art’s goals for this project were to meet with the customer and help them find a solution to their heat and UV issues. Our sales representative, Jeff, met the customer at the home to take a look at the glass in question. He went through each room of the house and took exact measurements.

The customer explained how they have a ton of windows throughout the house, which ultimately comes with natural light which is causing the flooring in the house to be faded from the sun. The homeowner went on to explain that they love the windows and the natural light and didn’t want to lose that but wanted to find a way to protect their floors from fading and reduce heat in the house. From there, Jeff showed the homeowner different window film samples that will help them with the issues they are having.

Solar Art's Suggestions

Since the homeowner was having issues with UV and heat, our sales representative instantly thought of a solar film for this project. There are many different solar films available on the market, each reducing different amounts of heat. The homeowner chose this window film because it did check off everything they were looking for. Huper Optik Drei blocks 70% of heat, 61% of glare, and 99% of UVA and UVB rays. Blocking 70% of heat from entering is going to make the home noticeably cooler and more comfortable.

UVA and UVB rays are the leading cause of sun fading. Blocking 99% of these ultraviolet rays is going to prolong the lifespan of the floor and protect them against sun fading. Results of the Window Film Installation

The homeowner decided to install Huper Optik Drei to the master bathroom, master bedroom, office, family room, dining room, and kitchen! This installation ended up being 1,100 square feet of Huper Optik Drei window film and took a team of four installers a total of eight hours to complete.
